Chapter 330: Ch-330: I carry large boxes
A few moments later...
The shopkeeper NPC stood dumbfounded, staring at the departing figures of Wang Ming and Min Li, his face dark with rage.
"That bastard robbed me! Is he trying to make me suffer a loss?"
A string of profanities escaped the NPC's mouth as he watched them disappear into the distance.

Min Li kept staring at Wang Ming with a bewildered gaze. Noticing her persistent look, Wang Ming turned to her in confusion.

"Why are you constantly staring at me? I know I'm handsome, but even I will feel shy," Wang Ming said playfully, even managing to make a faint blush appear on his face. If someone didn't know his true nature, they would have genuinely believed he was feeling embarrassed under the gaze of a beautiful woman.
"Snort... you wish," Min Li scoffed.

"Sigh... those NPCs are too realistic. They kept cursing me for picking up a few swords. Didn't he say they were free? And he even dared to say I needed to pay for free stuff—outrageous!" Wang Ming said, feigning anger.
"Few? You call this few? If this was the real world and you were weak, the shopkeeper would have beaten you black and blue," Min Li said in an incredulous voice.

Wang Ming was currently carrying two large boxes filled with steel swords, with two smaller boxes stacked on top of them. Yes, he had taken the entire stock of free steel swords from the NPC. Even though they were free, it would undoubtedly cause the shopkeeper financial problems. But did Wang Ming care? Not one bit.
Who told the NPC to call him a beggar? Yes, Wang Ming was petty— and he wasn't ashamed of it.
Also, the boxes he picked acted like space rings, having much more storage capacity than they appeared to from the outside. He had picked up at least a thousand swords to use.
Wang Ming did not acknowledge Min Li's accusations and ignored her, which caused her to sigh in frustration and wonder if he was really this shameless all the time.
'Hmm, makes sense. If he wasn't shameless, would he have stolen all the partners of the male disciples? A real pervert,' Min Li thought, nodding several times. Wang Ming glanced at her with twitching eyebrows, feeling like she was thinking something rude.
As Wang Ming arrived at the beast hunting ground, his lips started twitching when he saw a group of players fighting beasts while another group watched from the sidelines. The reason for his reaction was not the presence of the players, but the dark red aura covering them.
'Looks like they are player killers,' he thought. He had gathered information about such players after entering the game. He wasn't unfamiliar with them — even in his past life on Earth, he had encountered similar players in games and read about famous player killers in novels. Judging by the dark red color, which was on the verge of turning black, it hinted that they had killed a lot of players — most of them likely new — as Wang Ming noticed their cultivation was at the Foundation Realm. He assumed they were robbing the cores of new players; otherwise, who in their right mind would stay at the starting area?
'Looks like they're targeting us. Well, if that's the case, don't blame me for robbing you,' Wang Ming thought with a malicious grin, his eyes locked on the group.
'That creepy smile... he's planning something bad, isn't he?' Min Li thought as a shiver ran down her spine. Her eyes followed Wang Ming's gaze and landed on the group, looking at them with pity.
While Wang Ming and Min Li were observing the group, the other group was staring at them, a bit speechless at the sight of Wang Ming carrying such large boxes.
"Huh, why the hell is that guy carrying four boxes filled with steel swords?" asked a female with a dumfounded look.
"Who knows, but it looks like they're new," said a man from the group, also bewildered by the sight of Wang Ming carrying the boxes.
"Whatever, they're prey. After they get tired, we'll rob them like usual," said another person who seemed to be the leader.

Wang Ming placed the boxes on the ground, oblivious to the discussion. He looked around and sighed, noticing there weren't many beasts. If he could use his second sword art or if Shi Yu were here, he could have easily gathered a large number of beasts within a minute. Now, he'd have to search for them one by one.
Just as Wang Ming was about to pick up a sword, Min Li grabbed his hand. He looked up at her in confusion.
"Let me fight first," Min Li said.
Wang Ming nodded in agreement, watching as Min Li picked up a sword and walked toward a beast munching on a dead carcass. The beast raised its head and growled at the approaching Min Li.
Seeing Min Li continue walking toward it without pause, the beast's eyes narrowed, radiating a large amount of killing intent. This caused Min Li to hesitate for a moment, which the beast took advantage of by lunging directly at her. Min Li hurriedly raised her sword to block the incoming paw.

'Fuck, such strength,' Min Li grimaced as her arms trembled from the impact. If she had her original cultivation, there was no way she would have been shaken.
The beast, seeing its attack fail, leaped backward and started running circles around her. Min Li's eyes narrowed as she struggled to keep track of its speed, quickly becoming flustered. In her distraction, she failed to sense the beast charging from the left side.
"Ugh!" she grunted, barely managing to raise her sword in time. Luckily, the beast headbutted her instead of using its claws or fangs — otherwise, her arm would have been torn apart.
'Fuck, I really need to hone my combat awareness,' Min Li thought bitterly. She had mainly focused on cultivation all this time and had neglected combat training.
