Chapter 201 - 197: The 1960’s
Chapter 201 - 197: The 1960’s
[3rd POV]
After the reveal of her Gate of Babylon, the rest of the team had begun their search for the aberrations that Talia had told them to look out for, and after a couple of hours, that aberration had appeared in the year 1967, in the location of...Hollywood.
The aberration was in the form of a murder of man that was supposed to go on to create a rather unimportant part for vehicles, a part that didn't do much for history, hence the aberration was only considered a small one in the grand scheme of things. This aberration, however, was large enough to be noticed by the Legends, and more importantly, Gideon.
It was because of this, that Talia was currently walking alongside the Legends, walking on the grass of what seemed to be a film school or something of the sorts. The aberration was near the campus that they were walking through, and it was through this that they would be able to find the Legion of Doom before they caused any more issues.
"Is the professor alright?" Amaya asked, as Stein had opted to stay back at the Waverider for this particular mission, alongside Mick. Mick at the moment, was going through some...less than good things, due to the death of his brotherly figure, a death that had a rather negative effect on him that was really messing with his mind, an effect that was making it hard to go and do any sort of mission with the team.
"Uh, depends on what you mean by "All Right". He's helping Mick with something. I don't know, he's being kinda quiet about it" Jax replied awkwardly, not entirely sure what Stein was doing, but he did know that it involved Mick, which rarely meant anything good, as the man was...a rather unique person to work with, even more so if he needed the help of Stein.
"Well, I hope he figures it out soon, cause if the Legion of Doom is here-" "Really like how the names catching on" Nate cut in with a grin, happy with the fact that the name was sticking.
"We're gonna need Mick and Firestorm. Well, if Talia doesn't step in at least" Ray continued, knowing that Talia alone could take care of them easily enough.
"I will if the situation calls for it, but I doubt it will, Ray. And certain things happen for a reason, Ray, as all of you should understand" Talia explained, as Sara furrowed her eyebrows.
"You mean to tell me you know what's going to happen?" Sara asked, as Talia shrugged.
"I know what is going to happen should I not exist and interfere, yes. Certain things need to happen for a reason, Sara, and while I won't be telling you entirely why, I can tell you that should I not interfere, you will find something you have desperately wanted for so very long" Talia replied as Sara frowned.
"And what is that?"
Talia smiled softly and responded "Love"
Sara's eyes widened slightly as she stared at her, before huffing and continuing to walk, now understanding that Talia must be letting things happen so she could find this "Love" she just wondered who they were to get her love, not only that.
"That's why you let the Speedster go, isn't it? And why you told us to look out for small Aberrations? You already knew all of this was going to happen, don't you? You already know what is going to happen, meaning...you can see the future!" Ray exclaimed somewhat loudly as Sara shushed him.
"To an extent. It is but another ability afforded to me by my unique...aspects. But just trust me when I let things happen, and once it gets to a certain extent, I will step in and stop it when I trust that the future that I saw can still reasonably happen, without causing any unnecessary damages" Talia replied, knowing that she wouldn't be able to truly step in for a while.
As she needed for the Time Bureau to be born, for they would be incredibly important to the future of the Legends, especially considering Sara Lance would find her Wife amongst them. That was why she allowed things to happen in accordance to "Canon" at least to an extent. Not because she wanted to, but because otherwise she'd be stripping Sara of her wife and future daughter, and the rest of the team of all sorts of friends, love, and more.
Basically...she was forced to let it happen, only for now. For when the time was right, she would wipe out Thawne and send the other two back to their respective times with no memories of what had happened here. Although knowing how Thawne was, he would never truly die, for he was a walking anomaly, one only surpassed by her, who didn't exist in any other universe, timeline, and couldn't even be touching in the past.
While the team was walking, she was also using some rather complex magic to subtly make around 50 more clones and sent them off to join the first group, which from what she could tell, was still training on Mars, The Moon, and in all sorts of hidden places around the world and beyond.
Not only that, but she gave 25 of those 50 the sole duty of claiming suns, as many as they could in the decades that they would have. She expects to have tens of thousands of new suns, if not hundreds of thousands, or potentially even more depending on how fast they worked. But she also made sure they properly connected with every sun and not only a little bit, but thoroughly.
"So what now? Are we supposed to just walk around until we see a sign that says "This way?"" Jax asked as he turned around to face the group. They had been walking for a little bit when he said this.
"Good idea" Sara replied with a small smirk, motioning to what seemed to be a film set behind him, a small sign reading "Legends this way" and an arrow pointing to the left.
'This'll be good'

Walking for a bit, the group eventually found themselves in the back of the building as they rounded a corner, only to hear the voices of three distinct people, the Legends eyes widened in recognition as they raced forward and saw who it was.
One of them was a short haired blonde man with vibrant eyes, and was holding a rather futuristic looking laser gun of sorts, known as Damian Darhk, one of the men that shouldn't be there, but was due to Eobard Thawne.
The man next to him also had a weapon in his hands, with short brown hair and what seemed to be blue eyes. This man was the other person that shouldn't be here in this time, known as Malcolm Merlyn, an ex member of the League of Assassins, the one who caused the death of Oliver's father, the True Father of Thea Queen, and a multitude of other things.
He had shoulder length brown hair, a growing beard, and brown eyes. This man was currently known as "Phil Gasmer" but his true name was Michael, but more well known as Rip Hunter, the man that had brought the Legends together, and the supposed holder of the Spear of Destiny.
"Oh my God, it's Rip!" Sara exclaimed in surprise as she looked at the man, ignoring the two that held him at gunpoint.
"Don't worry. We got you, Rip" Ray said, as Rip gazed at them.
"Who the hell are you guys?" Rip, now known as Phil asked, as Damian sighed.
"We don't have time for this" He said, as he aimed his laser gun towards them and began firing. All the while, Talia only had one thought on her mind.
'...When should I get the Negative Speed Force?'
